These Sandwich Island Bass dudes have to be one of the most quietly efficient and underrated production teams currently in this tropical bass game. They’ve really been silently on fire since they started slowing their tempos under 100BPMs and getting weirder around the middle of last year. This exclusive tune today to DAD, “Low Dropper,” is of that exact same ilk and and it’s honestly weird as shit really. The time signatures seem to drift and play with your preconceived notions of where things are developing to the point that you kind of just end up rolling with it. Call experimental zouk bass or whatever the fuck label you want to stick on this but it’s creative, incredibly well-produced and loaded with bass as their name suggests. Sign me up.
