I've mentioned my hometown of Kansas City here more than a few times, which should hopefully give you the perspective that I get excited when my city does well. KC's Sigrah is someone from there we've featured before and today we've got the opportunity to premiere his debut artist EP, Take Me There, out now on Net Elite. This seven-track release is thick and features a number of crazy remixes from the likes of Seablaze, Golden Boy, and the sick flip from Traxx Romay. The main attraction is the two originals from Sigrah though. The chopped club drums and the dreamy soundscapes are blended like a complete pro and the multiple developments on both "For U" and the title track are worth repeated listens. It all makes me souped to see (and hear) someone I've interacted so much with in KC really start to dial in a sound all their own.
