What's a better way to announce a run of tour dates together than to release an EP of tunes those two artists collaborated on? Up that ante a bit and these two dance music heavy hitters have done that plus some as they've dedicated the entire project to one of their pets. You read that right. Premiering here on DAD today, Lilou's Theme is a three track beast mode of a release from Sinden and Astronomar dedicated to Sinden's French bulldog Lilou. While the tunes themselves don't have much to do with Lilou on the surface, the sense of humor with the project is absolutely nailed as well as the music itself. Both producers have a fairly prolific history of making house oriented music that completely fucks with your head while moving your feet and this release definitely maintains the tradition. The title track is a chaotic jackin tune in the spirit of Green Velvet's classic, "Percolator". "Bondeye" is a complete mindfuck that's as twisted as it is banging. The closer "Roarshack" is the most warehouse techno flavored of the three and definitely would fit right at home in a peak time set from Boys Noize. All three tunes are out now for your listening pleasure and make sure to peep these immensely talented dudes if they are hitting your city in the coming days.
