I feel like a complete idiot at this music nerd/blogger thing sometimes. Like, I've seen the name Slow Magic for what seems like a good minute now. Research shows me why with a string of cool singles already from the upcoming debut full length, How To Run Away, due Downtown Records September 9. But the thing is, I follow a lot of music and consider my ear to be fairly educated. Truth is, I don't think I had heard any of the actual music from Slow Magic until I clicked on the stream for "Waited 4 U." The reason I feel like such an idiot in this case is because this is so up my personal alley when it comes to warm garage and 2-step influenced house music it's just ridiculous. Now I've got a late pass, I hope. And I'm completely souped to get my hands on this album very soon.
