Aside from intense major-chord synths, a frenetic hi-hat and a laid back snare, there's chanting and klezmers, too. Left-of-center and right on point, Soohan's Made in Baltimore includes mashups between The Drifters and Wyclef Jean, Fatima al Qadiri-style takes on global bass and more. Imagine Petty Lights on mushrooms. Exactly. It's weirder (and more intriguing) than that.
