Soulmind is a DJ living in Berlin that is taking music to the next level. If you look him up and look around, there isn't very much marketing or press behind his name. I'm quite honestly not into DJ mixes. I scanned through this one before giving it a full listen, the track selection blew my mind. Soulmind reached out to Random Noise Alliance to get this mastered. Keep in mind this is a DJ mix, and NOBODY gets their DJ mixes mastered. His work for a well-known company that services hardware and software for DJs seems to have turned into an addiction to stay as close to perfection as possible. The transitions are damn near flawless.
The tune selection is also mind-blowing. I could only ID seven or eight of these records, and I do this all day every day. Soulmind kept this tune as a stream without a tracklist for more than two weeks, but now is unlocking both the track list (less two top-secret tunes), as well as the download of the mix for no apparent reason. I'm already considering it one of my favorite mixes of the year, and we're thrilled to be able to help pass it out. This just made underground bass music feel sexy again.
