Ta-ku‘s Songs To Break Up To is coming next month, and the Australian producer decided to lead up to it by doing what he does best: dropping more music. This time, he abandons the Dilla-style thwaps and trap-style hi-hats for the mature, slow-burning “We Were In Love.” With Jhene Aiko vocals cut up and pasted in, this one takes a serious, contemplative tone, highlighting once again that Ta-ku’s one of the most versatile producers out right now. It’s also a great way to lead up to a project called Songs To Break Up To.
