The Marvelettes - "Please Mr. Postman (Borgore and Luke & Skywalker Remix)"

That shit just LOOKS weird, right? Motown Tamla's first US pop #1 hit, The Marvelettes' "Please Mr. Postman," gets the official trap remix. Well, that's what we hear anyways. Whoever at Motown let Borgore and Luke & Skywalker officially remix this is a great question, but I doubt you ravers and ravettes give a fuck. You're at your desk/on the train doing the turn up dance and laughing at the old folks who rocked to this back in the 1960s. I remember a different time, though...

See, this isn't the best rendition of "Please Mr. Postman." No, that distinction belongs to Cragga, who churned out a massive dubstep refix some three years ago. They both started perfectly in the intro, but for some reason Borgore and/or Luke & Skywalker decided to repeat one portion (one that they doctored up a bit), while Cragga let's the emotive vocals from the original float over this hypnotic bass. Shouldn't there be a rule, something like "wow, this guy rinsed that tune, no need for me to remix it?"

And I'm not saying this to hate on Borgore OR Luke & Skywalker... but come on. Call a banger a banger, and let that banger's producer live. "You gotta wait a minute, wait a minute..."
