Included on our very first 50 under 5000 feature, Pittsburgh's Torvvo is someone I honestly thought would be getting tied in with this house movement in the United States at this point. It's been almost a year since we featured him initially and his content remains insanely good. Case and point is Torvvo's new two-track Thru Trax release on Them Flavors that we're premiering it here on DAD for you today. "Thru Trax 1" is an old school-flavored swingy breaks tune that's as funky as anything you're really hearing right now on a tech/house/whatever tip. "Thru Trax 2" is the jam out of the two, though. This is higher tempo'd and run through the techno ringer with extreme taste and slickness. I honestly don't what it's going to take for this kid to really get some looks, but I'm incredibly happy he's dropping super high quality stuff like this in the meantime.
