In preparation for the release of their new album (they posted yesterday that they had just finished the last mix), The Knocks dropped a new tune with the undeniable Treasure Fingers on THUMP today that will get your ass shaking well into the weekend. Now, I'm not one to make broad, sweeping generalizations about the state of dance music and play favorites with the music of those that I've come to recognize as the next generation of disco, but judging by this song, scientifically speaking, this album is going to be the best ever and everything else is going to suck by comparison because The Knocks never ever ever ever ever disappoint and their music could make paraplegics do the stanky leg.
Overkill? Maybe take that with a grain of salt.
The point I'm trying to make is that after you crack open this ice cold tune and take a nice long sip, it might be wise to keep an eye on The Knocks for an album in the near future.
