It feels like it's been a minute since we got an official Trolley Snatcha release, right? Sure, he dropped The Lost Project Files last year, and there was that "Belly of the Beast" remix, but an actual new Trolley Snatcha release has been hard to come by. Leave it to Firepower to sort out this seven-track release, Archetype, which is set to drop on October 28. And just as you'd expect, a track entitled "Dubplate" finds Trolley and the Firepower crew reaching back to the dubbier side of things. Simba provides a slick vocal to get things hype, allowing Trolley Snatcha to ramp things up with a hypnotic tune. It's anthemic, but doesn't turn into this bro'd out number. It's almost subtle in it's hype, throwing some memorable melodies over a rumbling bassline. The echoes and skankin' in the background are key to the full dubwise experience, and "make" this tune.
