It’s kind of crazy to think of the six years it took Trouble & Bass to hit 100 releases. Think of how the dance music blogosphere has changed in that time period. That 2008 golden era for the scene isn’t the same as it is now, but Trouble & Bass still stands. It’s amazing that the same year they merked the competition at the Culture Clash is the same year they then revel in the accomplishment of 100 releases. And as a celebration, they took it back to the essence, providing “The One,” which is drenched in old school breakbeat house textures. If you don’t get that warm and fuzzy feeling when this one drops, you might be fucking up. Stand tall, Trouble & Bass Crew. DAD salutes you.
