As of late, there have been a number of quality flips of hip-hop tracks hitting our playlists. We got to premiere Terravita's drumsteppin' Master P-rework, while Claptone celebrated 100K Facebook likes with some of that Wu-Tang. Somewhere in the middle is Green Lantern's remix of "C.R.E.A.M.."

As you should know, Green is a DJ/producer who's near to our hearts, primarily because we've seen him grow from this fierce mixtape DJ into a producer and certified vet in the hip-hop scene to fully immersing himself in the EDM scene, properly injecting hip-hop sounds and appeal to his material. For his take on "C.R.E.A.M," he does a great job of replaying the original's memorable sample, finding a way to turn a song that's steeped in the grittier side of the city into a massive twerk jam. There's some big beat hip-hop breaks in there, as well as some fun rewinds and cuts of the lyrics from the source, making this one much more than "here's a fat beat under the original track." Shows how much thought Green puts into these remixes, and how much of a problem he is for the lackadaisical producers out there. Step your remix game up!
