Moody Good is having quite a 2014. He’s had a number of great releases including his Slum Village remix and his debut album. The UK bass master infuses dubstep into everything he does and today he let loose a new remix with more of that flavor. Taking on Yogi’s collaboration with Pusha T “Burial,” Moody Good mixes in a bone-crushing heaviness with trap percussion and rhythms with gnarly dub step sounds and energy. It’s not surprising considering Moody Good was originally 1/2 of 16 Bit; a duo that low-key killed the UK dubstep at the end of the '00s and played a big role in the sound’s development.

The remix is slated to be included on an official remix package dropping on November 13 by way of OWSLA. Moody Good will be joined by Skrillex, Crookers, and Trollphace–another dubstep producer Skrillex has been championing in 2014. You can catch both Moody Good and Yogi at HARD’s Day of The Dead next month, so grab your tickets now and mark your calendar for this release.
