Due to the viral sensation built around Baauer's "Harlem Shake," his name has been in the mouths of many who didn't know who he was a month ago. He's not only debuted atop Billboard's Hot 100, but is covering the next issue of Billboard. People know he's affiliated with Mad Decent, produced the huge "HIGHER" with Just Blaze, and remixed the likes of No Doubt, The Prodigy, and Flosstradamus. The actual number of releases isn't huge, and there are still some tracks that many just don't know.

We've already showcased his remix work, and wanted to helped educate those of you who might be a) new to Baauer or b) familiar with Baauer but not really up on his output. Found in this list are some forthcoming releases, b-sides and lesser-known tracks, and some unreleased (and in some cases, unnamed) tracks that are bubbling underground. Here are 10 Baauer tracks that you don't know... but you should.

Baauer - "Yaow!"

This is actually the flipside to "Harlem Shake" when it was released on The Jeffrees. It's almost hard to put out a track alongside "Harlem Shake," but this shows the bouncy flavor that you get from Baauer. You have to love how this one gets you moving, but isn't too over the top. That underlying bass is sinister, too. Something to cruise to.

UZ x Baauer - "Untitled"

Not Available Interstitial

Before Baauer's first appearance in the trap scene last year, UZ was the king of the hill. This collaboration was featured on UZ's UKF Podcast mix, and the stabs alongside the voices dropping in time with the beat are perfect. No word on a proper name or release on this one as of yet.

Baauer - "Slip"

Not Available Interstitial

Thunderous bass on this track, which is reportedly one of the tracks on his forthcoming LuckyMe EP (which is said to include Just Blaze and AlunaGeorge). Something about the way he twisted that chime/bell sound in this one; he freaks it perfectly over that bass-driven groove.

Baauer - "Buble Rap"

Not Available Interstitial

Popping fresh; this cut dropped during the 12 Days of LuckyMe series this past holiday season. Feels like a trap version of a Jiffy Pop commercial.

Baauer - "Swerve"

Not Available Interstitial

"Swerve" was the third track on Baauer's "Dum Dum" 12" release for LuckyMe; when he spoke with Benji B in July of 2012, he mentioned the release just having "Dum Dum" and "My Nose" on it, and played "Swerve" as just another beat, so we're wondering if it was added after? Surely not a track to miss; the way he flipped those vocal samples over that mean bass? Hypnotic.

Baauer - "My Head"

Not Available Interstitial

Only the real Baauer heads are up on "My Head;" this was featured on Astro Nautico's Atlantics Vol. 2 compilation alongside tracks from Djemba Djemba, Abel, Obey City, and Pixelord. Just something about the way he chopped and screwed Kylie Minogue over this soft track.

Baauer ft. BHB - "Iced Up"

Not Available Interstitial

This was an earlier Baauer track, and a great example of how you can bring some quirky flavors to trap without being so predictable. He's got the triplet snares, Gucci Mane samples, but there's still a twisted batch of horn stabs, chiptune flavors, and much more on this mid-tempo riddim. Don't sleep.

Krueger - "Talk (Baauer Remix)"

Not Available Interstitial

This remix pre-dates the release of "Harlem Shake" by a month; Paradisiaca must have seen something early. One of those undeniably funky tracks that Baauer is perfect at crafting. Drop it low.

Baauer & Sleepyhead - "Purebread"

Not Available Interstitial

This might be one of the deepest, darkest tracks in Baauer's catalog. There's not much info on Sleepyhead, or a release of this one, but it's been a favorite of Benji B's ever since the summer of 2012. This is one of those tunes that truly let's you hear how massive this sound is. It's not the big anthem, but it's a huge track. Hopefully this one is getting a release at some point.

Baauer - "Baddest"

Not Available Interstitial

"Baddest" is another track earmarked for Baauer's next LuckyMe EP. This tune has been around for a bit; this clip is taken from a HudMo mix from September of 2012. Baauer's got the bass knocking so hard in this one, you almost think the club you're in that's playing this is going to cave in from the bassweight. He also crafted a stellar loop off of what sounds like some bells. He stays dropping those leftfield bangers, doesn't he?
