You know what DAD loves? Dance music, obviously. You know what DAD loves even more? Fireworks! You can have the dullest lineup at a festival, but tell us there will be a fireworks display, and we'll be there early. Holding Americans flags, because independence. In any case, you don't get too many Fourth of July fireworks displays with proper dance music. And while we doubt your display will feature ANY of these tracks, you might want to bring your MP3 listening device, load these bangers up, and sync them to whatever displays you're checking out.

David Solano - "Kaboom"

Not Available Interstitial

David Solano's latest just FEELS like the perfect introductory track for a massive fireworks show. It's built on a number of build-ups, and for fuck's sake, it's called "Kaboom!" You can't make it any easier.

Rustie - "Slasherr"

Not Available Interstitial

Shimmering melodies, pounding beats, Rustie's maximalist future bass is the musical equivalent to those fireworks. An energy and swag that just says, "IDGAF?!," Rustie's jams are always on point. Be it his recent release "Slasherr" or his LP Glass Swords, Rustie will get it poppin.

Wolfgang Gartner -"Wolfgang's 5th Symphony"

Not Available Interstitial

Perhaps an exquisite showing of fireworks would be accompanied by an equally exquisite example of electro house. Wolfgang took #1 with this true BANGER and let it be known, that he is a true master of music.

TNGHT - "Higher Ground"

Not Available Interstitial

The most well-known and fully-realized track from TNGHT's 2012 EP, "Higher Ground" has those regal horns driving a number of tight snares, which can be great accents for well-timed displays. As a matter of fact, the playful nature of the drum fills could open up all kinds of possibilities for fireworks, as does the idea of "reaching for higher ground" - how high can these fireworks shoot?!

12th Planet ft. GMCFOSHO, Skrillex & Kill The Noise - "Burst"

Not Available Interstitial

This is a bonafide dubstep posse cut right here and the combined talents on this record are immeasurable. "Burst" really is the dubstep equivalent to fireworks with it's exploding bassline, spastic synth stabs, and infectious swag. Watching Skrillex drop this in his 2012 Electric Zoo closing set last summer was a treat and the complimenting fireworks just made it perfect.

Hardwell - "Spaceman"

Not Available Interstitial

One needs an undeniable anthem thrown into their displays. You could throw in a "LE7ELS," but we don't want to alienate the crowd. Why not sort out a display that bigs up NASA and America's expeditions into space with Hardwell's progressive banger "Spaceman?" You'll get the kids rocking to this, and the different washes and elements in the tune can bring on a totally different piece to the display. Really make it proper show of it.

Venetian Snares - "Szamár Madár"

Not Available Interstitial

I don't think I would associate this track with fireworks if I never saw this video. But how trippy would it be to have projections of this video, fireworks launched in time with the record, and the finale at the crescendo? It would be a fireworks show that I would remember forever.

Tiësto - "Maximal Crazy"

Just look at this music video. I can't help but go maximal crazy and some fireworks would just be the ultimate. Turn up.

10 THINGS YOU DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT TIESTO

Fracture & Neptune - "Colemanism"

Not Available Interstitial

An oddball choice? Possibly. Fracture & Neptune's drum & bass ode to the drummer on The Winston's "Amen Brother," with its intricate breakbeat edits, could be the most off-the-hook bed for a spastic, explosive fireworks movement. Dash in a random color when the horns hit and you've got a winner.

Baauer - "Harlem Shake"

Not Available Interstitial

You always have to save the biggest beast for the finale. "Harlem Shake" had a huge impact in early 2013, making it one of the most random hits ever in the EDM scene. We imagine the guy who is running the display wants to end on a high note, and "Harlem Shake" could literally just play while you let off your biggest and brightest fireworks. Just let it all hang out and do the... ah, you know the rest.
