If you're going to be one of the many hitting Coachella, sitting out in that crowd, many at DAD envy you. All of us couldn't make it out there, but that doesn't mean we don't want you to have a good time. You have a grip of acts to choose from over the course of Coachella, and we'd rather you enjoy as many different DJs and live acts as you can. This selection for 2014 was solid, and we wanted to point out 10 acts that we fill will give you a great time that you might not be checking for, for whatever reason.

Flume

Not Available Interstitial

Flume's had a pretty ill last couple of years; the Sydney, Australia-based producer has an impressive self-titled album out, a string of fly remixes, dope side projects and collaborations, and an ear for intoxicating future beats. If you're trying to vibe out in the sun, Flume's your guy.

Hot Since 82

Not Available Interstitial

Hot Since 82 dropped the immaculate Little Black Book album in 2013, but he's not just a brilliant producer - he knows how to craft a strong set. Be sure to pop on over for his mesmerizing array of deep house treats.

DJ Falcon

Not Available Interstitial

Many people only know of Falcon as being "that guy who worked on Daft Punk's "Contact,"" but he's actually been representing for dance music in France for years. He has a grip of remixes under his belt, has toured with Daft Punk and the Ed Banger crew, and is a glorious threat in his own right. His sets can get fierce, so be ready.

UZ

Not Available Interstitial

Not only is UZ fresh of a Diplo & Friends guest mix, but he's just celebrated two years of "Trap Shit" with his Trap Shit 17/20 EP on Jeffree's. Expect nothing but the illest trap and twerk sounds from this man of mystery.

The Magician

Not Available Interstitial

Hopefully you've been enamored with The Magician's "magic tapes." He has a bright, funky, disco-tinged house blend that is sure to be a great distraction from the more brooding, serious sets at Coachella. He's also come into his own, with remixes piling up for Chromeo, Javeon, Chris Malinchak, Lykke Li, and others - don't sleep!

Guy Gerber

guygerber

Guy Gerber's been doing his thing, there's no doubt about that, but the honest reason we thin you shouldn't miss his set is the possibility of trainspotting material from his forthcoming 1111 project with Diddy. Who knows what they've been cultivating, and we can only imagine what's on deck.

Duck Sauce

Not Available Interstitial

With Quack set to drop April 15, expect A-Trak and Armand to not only drop a bunch of album cuts, but some of their funky, throwback-tinged jams for the crowd to get hype to. They might even treat Coachella as a proper celebration for the album's release, so get ready for something special.

Classixx

Not Available Interstitial

Weird Zedd fans tried to diss Classixx while they were opening on his tour, but this duo are not to be slept-on. Their aim is to make you boogie, and the crowd at Coachella should be ready to get their vibe on, forreal.

Rudimental

Not Available Interstitial

This group has blown up over the last year, and Coachella will be a great festival for this crew to truly flourish in the American market. Not saying they'll take over by the end of April, but a band that's so grounded in dnb getting to rock for a crowd like this? Should be an epic set.

Bonobo

Not Available Interstitial

Bonobo might be the sleeper of the entire festival. He's been touring with his live band, so we're assuming that the proper Bonobo live set will be in effect at Coachella, giving heads that jazzy, leftfield vibe that Ninja Tune loves so much. If it's a DJ set, that's OK; he is also featured on the Essential Mix this weekend, and knows his way around the decks. No matter how you slice it, go in open-minded and leave with a warm feeling in your belly.
