Just as we predicted after the Counterpoint 2014 lineup announcement earlier today, the bold and diverse group of artists strategically chosen by MCP Presents has indeed generated a lot of buzz. Some of it good... and some of it not so good. For fans (many of them a bit older) of electronic music that also enjoy a wide variety of other genres and for fans that are trying to stay away from big room house and all the added costs and other negatives that come with that, this lineup seems to be resounding really well. On the other hand, the fans that were planning to go (or had even already bought tickets to go) based solely on the types of headliners that they had two years ago are going to feel like they have been left out to dry in the scorching Georgia sun. There are also many people who attended the festival two years ago and were expecting a "same shit, different day" scenario who are now feeling a bit chapped about the line up as well.

We took to Twitter and Facebook to bring you a pretty good representation of the wide spectrum of approval ratings on this here line up. Some of these individuals make some really good points on either side of fence and some of these people are just talking out of their asses. We'll just let you decide whether this one is worth your time and money. We applaud MCP on their boldness and diverse taste and definitely want to be there for this one in April if at all possible.
