Look at this: I'm still talking like it's just you and me. Just how it goes. If I'm keeping it 100, this time last year, I was a bit frustrated. I won't lie. The daily grind of providing the best in electronic music can be tedious, especially when people still don't understand what it is we're doing. For DAD, it's not just about being on the cusp of the current—it's always been about the slept-on and undiscovered talents out there, with a nod to the history of this shit. It's cool to know where you are on the map, but if you don't know where you've been or where you're going, your living life on a treadmill.
All of that said, I'm going to attempt to kick my feet up for most of today and revel in the wins from this past year. Easiest way to do that is to fire up a massive playlist featuring some of my favorite bits. Some of them should be familiar to you—some of the biggest bits from 2014 are in here, but I kept this one a bit personal. You won't find any trance in here, but you will get a heavy dose of bass, spanning a number of tempos and genres. This is a journey for your night, be it spent at your home with you closest friends and family or on your way to whatever adventure you have laid out for tonight.
