Vancouver's 8prn hasn't yet become a name you need to know, but rather a name you should know. That's no sleight, as it wasn't that long ago 8prn was just making his DAD debut back in July with his special Inoj remix (or April, if you include his spot in Ryan Hemsworth's Diplo & Friends mix). Since then the R&B-affected beats and bass musician has continued to spread his wings unleashing more and more material that demonstrates the young beatsmith's musical and production prowess. This week the Van City native brought us an hour of delightful and enriching electronica bliss all with an R&B tint. Cuts like Drake's "Too Much" with Sampha are probably the most "notable" to the non-initiated, but 8prn also sourced cuts from his own catalog of originals and remixes and contemporaries such as LuckyMe's Cid Rim, Dirtybird's Kill Frenzy, and Wedidit's Shlohmo.
