What a difference five years can make. It was in 2008 when The Enemy of Evol Intent really started getting his feet wet with his then-side project Treasure Fingers, which explored the realms of house and disco. He was already such an integral part to the American drum & bass scene, but to then see him branching out? It was awkward at first, but as you can see, he was so good at crafting tunes in this style that this "side project" turned into the true next chapter of his sound, which has paid off in spades. His hard work and dedication to the "nu disco" sound has netted him releases and remixes for Fool's Gold, Scion A/V, Defected, Hed Kandi, Nervous, Slow Roast, Mad Decent, and A&M/Octone. He's remixed everyone from Eric Prydz to Estelle, and recently joined Mat Zo as a part of his Damage Control World Tour. It's always amazing to see that class of drum & bass producers (which includes Bro Safari, 12th Planet, and Kill the Noise) succeeding, even if it's outside of that realm.
