If only the American EDM scene was more dnb-centric; DAD would contain so much drum & bass you androids would need to cop new subs every quarter. It's not often that we get firing drum & bass mixes for the DAD Mix series, but this is one I had to have. Callide's been putting together some of my favorite mixes over the last year with his System Shock series, and I approached him about getting a special upfront selection for DAD. He obliged, and brought a few friends along. Callide and Intraspekt put out a deadly single on System Shock in 2013 (as well as a pair of releases on Crissy Criss' The Zoooo imprint), and while Intraspekt might be a new name to many, don't sleep. Dude's packing heat. Joining these two DJs is Coppa, an MC who's linked up with everyone from Prolix and Teddy Killerz to Proktah and Disaszt. Essentially, he knows how to host these kinds of ferocious proceedings with minimal talk and maximum vibes.
