In three short years, director Luke Monaghan has created videos with a pretty esteemed list of artists, including Ed Sheeran, Flatbush Zombies, Wretch 32, Maverick Sabre, and others, including the A$AP Rocky documentary on the UK's Channel 4. He's worked in conjunction with Nike, Adidas, Casio, and ASOS, helping in their A/W campaign with Azealia Banks. He's cited Spike Jonze as one of his influences, and you can see that in his approach to his videos. He has a knack for producing narrative pieces that, without the actual artist, convey their own dope little stories. His latest work? The video for Disclosure's "White Noise."

Shot in Detroit, it tells an intriguing tale about a guy who seemingly is out protecting these old builds which he then throws these one-man parties in. We fell in love with the tale (and the lead character's ill Starter jacket), and Complex's Nick Schonberger spoke with Luke, who gave us some brief insights into shooting the piece, Detroit, and that ill Starter jacket.
