This Memorial Day Weekend, Insomniac's Road to (EDC) Las Vegas makes a two-day pit stop in the Northeast, taking over Metlife Stadium for this year's EDC NY. Looking at the set times, you're inundated with four stages chock full of EDM DJs that you might know, with many that you might not. And while we figure you have DJs that you KNOW you want to check out, we want to make sure that you're really getting your money's worth, especially if you chose EDC NY over Mysteryland. Here are 10 DAD-approved DJs that we know you'll enjoy, along with when they're touching down and some audio to get an idea of what you'll be in for. You're welcome.

Wax Motif

Not Available Interstitial

When are they playing?: Saturday, May 24 (1:35PM - 3:05PM), cosmicMEADOW

Wax Motif is one of those producers who we've seen do his thing over the years, but it feels like NOW is the time where he might truly start to shine. Mind you, this is after releases on Dim Mak, Fool's Gold, Mixmash, and Mad Decent. He's also collaborated with everyone from Anna Lunoe to Neoteric. He will no doubt bring a batch of festival-ready bangers to surprise you.

Mercer

Not Available Interstitial

When are they playing?: Saturday, May 24 (2:30PM - 3:30PM), circuitGROUNDS

You've definitely heard Mercer's music before; his huge collaboration with Alvaro and Lil Jon, "Welcome To The Jungle," slayed shit last year, and he's already scored a heater with DJ Snake entitled "Lunatic." If you're looking to do nothing more than have a super ill time without worrying about chin-stroking or standing idly by, you need to be locked in for what this Parisian has to offer.

Alex Metric

Not Available Interstitial

When are they playing?: Saturday, May 24 (4:20PM - 5:55PM), cosmicMEADOW

London's own Alex Metric has a sound that is influenced by the scenes in Chicago and Detroit, as well as everything from soul to funk, but twists it all into his own design. He's He spent a good chunk of 2013 supporting Zedd on his Momenty of Clarity tour, and recently dropped his Hope EP on OWSLA. He's one to watch, not just at EDC NY, but as part of the ever-evolving dance music scene.

Destructo

Not Available Interstitial

When are they playing?: Saturday, May 24 (6:50PM - 8:05PM), cosmicMEADOW

He's not just the head of HARD; Destructo is an accomplished producer and DJ. Depending on his mood, he can go from deeper, tech-y sides of house to more upfront sounds. Whatever the case may be, he's always fun, and will make sure to have crowds grooving in the early evening.

Bassnectar

Not Available Interstitial

When are they playing?: Saturday, May 24 (9:30PM - 11PM), cosmicMEADOW

Bassnectar's not that far from releasing a new album, Noise vs. Beauty, so we imagine that he'll have lots of new material on deck. But even if he wasn't, his live show is one of the biggest across the country, so you'll be satisfied by the mind-numbing bass that will be blasting during his set.

Starkey

Not Available Interstitial

When are they playing?: Sunday, May 25 (12PM - 12:15PM), cosmicMEADOW

Thought we were bugging out when we saw that Starkey was listed on the set times as having a 15-minute set, but it's also listed like that on their official website. Not sure what the science behind that is, as we've heard Starkey drop some of our favorite hour-long mixes over the last few years. He's a gem in the street bass scene, bridging the gaps between a number of different street-wise music scenes, and regularly has features shows on Rinse FM. He has some serious heat on deck (we can feel it), and could take his 15-minute slot and really blow your mind.

Skream

Not Available Interstitial

When are they playing?: Sunday, May 25 (5PM - 6PM), neonGARDEN

We don't really need to go into why you should be checking for Skream, right? He tows that line of UK bass and full-on house bliss, and could pull off a six-hour set just as easily as a sixty minute set. His will be a true treat.

Dusky

Not Available Interstitial

When are they playing?: Sunday, May 25 (7PM - 8PM), neonGARDEN

Dusky's been a duo to watch since they emerged on the scene, and with releases highlighting their deep aesthetic on Aus, Anjunadeep, and School, it'll be interesting to see where they go with their new imprint, 17 Steps. They have a new EP, Loving Taking Over, on the horizon, so be on the lookout for loads of unreleased heat from their own studio.

Nero

Not Available Interstitial

When are they playing?: Sunday, May 25 (9:45PM - 11PM), cosmicMEADOW

While they've not been entirely forthcoming with new info, we do know that Nero is working on their sophomore album, and recently released a new single, "Satisfy." Do you know what that means? Nero will probably be dropping a bunch of new shit you haven't heard yet. They could be your closing-set of the night, and it'd be well worth it.

Claude VonStroke

Not Available Interstitial

When are they playing?: Sunday, May 25 (10PM - 11PM), neonGARDEN

The dirtybird general will be in the house, and it should be a truly ill set. Something about Claude and his way with that bass-heavy house sound that will get you going. Dude knows how to pick 'em, and knows how to make 'em, and with him closing out the neonGARDEN on Sunday night, maybe THAT could be the best way to end your EDCNY experience...
