So we've ran down days one and two of Electric Zoo 2013, and now we have to run down the third. This might be one of the more properly varied days, with some of the best in the EDM scene thrown up with some of the finest that are on the come-up. Varying styles, from trap to trance... you know how DAD does. Here are the 10 must-see acts from Day 3 of Electric Zoo 2013.

Armin Van Buuren

Not Available Interstitial

Armin Van Buuren, the #1 DJ in the world, is almost by default a must-see act. He's had a heck of a year with his stunning album Intense, inspiring top 40 hits like "This Is What It Feels Like" and blockbuster world tours cementing his status as the world's best. Armin has also proved doubters wrong with the creation of his "Who's Afraid Of 138?" label, re-committing his brand to the preservation of the trance sound.

Adam Beyer

Not Available Interstitial

Adam Beyer's Drumcode is taking over the Sunday School Groove tent for day three, so it'd only make sense that Drumcode's leading man is a must-see, right? Right. With seemingly simple but pulverizing percussion, Beyer's brand of melodic techno is a great starting point for neophytes. The atmosphere at the Drumcode tent will no doubt be intense, but that's to be expected with techno and you should dive right into the rabbit hole. You might come out a different person.

W&W

Not Available Interstitial

There's a reason W&W's imprint is named Mainstage Music. Their genre-bending blend of electro house and trance has made them one of the leading DJ duos in the world and we expect that they'll shoot up the Top 100 DJ Poll. Their collaborations with Armin Van Buuren ("D# Fat"), Ummet Ozcan ("The Code"), Hardwell ("Jumper"), and their originals "Lift Off!" and "Thunder" have ALL dominated and it's a testament to their DJ sets.

Diplo

Not Available Interstitial

Mad Decent's main man Diplo didn't become "Diplo" without knowing how to rock a crowd. It doesn't matter if he's rocking the suit because he's turning up and dropping any number of bangers from his Mad Decent camp. Consider the fact that Diplo has been involved in some fashion or another with many of the biggest records in the last few years, and that's enough to get me there Now add in the fact that you know he's got an entire collections of never-released dubs and VIPs....you can find me expressing myself on the tent walls!

Alex Metric

Not Available Interstitial

OWSLA signee Alex Metric might not have the highest profile as the rest on this list, but don't take that for an excuse to miss him. The UK producer mixes a throwback acid and electro sound to make funky numbers like "Rave Weapon" and "Prophecies" while also finding time for tracks like his slower, more intimate Foals remix. Metric reads crowds and is an actual DJ who will undoubtedly throw records at you that you've never heard; an always refreshing delight. He's been on big festivals all year and supporting Zedd on tour. Don't miss the boat here.

Steve Aoki

Not Available Interstitial

Steve Aoki is definitely a name that is hit or miss with people. "He's not a real DJ" seems to be the biggest criticism to him, but to that we say you're lying. Central to the DJ's role is entertaining the crowd and that's what he does. No one is claiming he's a turntablist or the master of the deep marathon mixes, but have you seen his gun? I'm sorry, anyone who can nail a kid in a wheelchair with a cake to the face from a distance like that deserves our attention and respect. I'll definitely be at this set to catch some of the madness and hopefully get some cake!

30 SHOTS OF STEVE AOKI JUMPING

Krewella

Not Available Interstitial

Boy, what a difference a year can make! Raiman, Jahan, and Yasmine rocked a side stage at last year's Electric Zoo, and this year they're bringing their special breed of vocal bass music to the main stage. Whether or not you're a fan of this trio, it's impossible to deny that they have stage presence. Crowd diving, bottle popping, these three put on a party ripped right out of the glam metal '80s and with their debut album Get Wet on the way, we can expect to hear plenty of new music.

Carnage

Not Available Interstitial

Carnage's 2013 has been pretty spectacular; his track "Incredible" with Borgore was just that, and he recently put out "Michael Jordan" with Tony Junior on Dim Mak. In between those releases, Carnage has touched down at every festival that's mattered, bringing his signature brand of festival-charged trap and house to the hungry masses. He's a true character, and knows how to get a crowd hype. You trying to get turnt? This is the mix for you.

THE BEST DJS OF 2013, SO FAR

Sub Focus

Not Available Interstitial

Sub Focus was one of the acts that helped push Ram Records into the stratosphere as a drum & bass imprint... so of course he started working on dubstep and other forms of dance music. He's not totally abandoned his drum & bass roots, but his genius knows no bounds. If you're looking for a solid set of banging beats, especially what represents the forward-thinking UK bass scene (as well as some bits from his forthcoming album Torus), pop over to Sub Focus' set on Sunday.

Markus Schulz

Not Available Interstitial

German-born, Miami-residing Markus Schulz is no doubt one of the most revered DJs in the world of trance. His "Global DJ Broadcast" is one of the best in the biz and he recently did an open-to-close 12-hour set at Tomorrowland. Whether he's playing classics, giving you some of that uplifting euphoria, or taking you down the rabbit hole, Mr. Schulz is a master DJ and he's a must-see for any serious Zoo animal.
