With Electric Zoo less than two weeks away, we found out something very interesting about the 2014 edition: so far, there are over 60 debuts hitting the NY festival this year. With EZoo growing year after year, it's one of the premiere EDM festivals to get booked on, but what's more important is that with the additions of the Beatport stage and the Sunday School portion, there's a growing diversity among the performers. With the debuts we're seeing this year, you get a good crop of DJs who have been making noise and couldn't be ignored (like Carnage, Seven Lions, and Oliver Heldens). We combed through the list of debuting DJs, and picked out 14 that we think you should pay special attention to.

Heroes x Villains

HxV is a crew we've seen blossom. From their initial moves to the last year or so, where it feels like the fans and the industry are really taking notice, it's been great seeing the growth and acceptance come their way. Debuting at Electric Zoo will be a tentpole in their 2014, and hopefully puts them in direct line of sight for whatever destructive moves they have planned.

Jamie xx

One thing I've noticed about Electric Zoo is playing that middle ground; it's been dope to see them stick with the Tiestos and the Diplos, but also satisfy the fans who might not be totally on that poppier side of the EDM wave. Jamie xx is working out some brilliant material, and while his set won't have your typical EDM head going nuts, those who know will know.

Le Castle Vania

Le Castle Vania is back with a vengeance, building on the support from Mau5trap by releasing a new EP, Feels Like Fire, that had a number of us on staff going nuts. We've been easing back on the electro house tip, but there's something about LCV's work that has us enamored by the sounds he's providing.

What So Not

Flume's a given, but there's something about when he aligns with Emoh Instead that brings the vibe to that next level. Maybe its the idea that he can really let loose and just make what they want. There's a real playful nature that comes around their output, and with tons of collaborations on their plate (including rumored work with Skrillex), you might want to make sure you hit their set, just to hear what they have in store.

Jack U

These two making their debut at Electric Zoo makes sense; the Jack U project kicked off last year, but wasn't making strides as a real unit until this year. With high-quality sets at Ultra and HARD Summer, EZoo should be up for anything. And while we usually frown on smartphone cinematography, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for any new Jack U material these two will be dropping.

Kove

Just because someone isn't pandering to the masses doesn't mean you won't be shaking your asses. If you're looking for a healthy dose of house from across the pond, MTA's Kove is all yours.

Scuba

The Hot Flush head might stick out like a sore thumb on the full llineup, but his might be the most impressive set of the entire festival. His work as a producer and remixer are top notch, but there's something about his skills as a curator which speak volumes.

TJR

TJR can seemingly do it all; we're actually surprised he wasn't at Electric Zoo last year, but that's fine. 2014 fans are sure to catch that bounce and ride the wave that TJR will construct.

Tensnake

Tensnake released a brilliant album earlier this year, and could drop tunes that will soothe the soles of your feet after bouncing all day. A great diversion from what's deemed to be the festival norm.

Hook N Sling

We have a feeling that Hook N Sling's set might be one of the sleeper hits of the festival. There's something about his sly, anthemic tunes that seem to get critical love but might fall a bit under the radar. This Sydney-based producer has been making it happen–now it's just time for the rest of the world to catch up.

Jeremy Olander

Olander's a Pryda Friend, and will prove it with his set at EZoo this year. Be ready for huge melodies and constant thumpery.

Clockwork

RL Grime's been causing all kinds of ruckus for his trap material (and forthcoming album), but his electro house alter-ego has had a number of solid hits as well for both Dim Mak and Ultra Music. When he straps on his Clockwork guise, it's all about pure adrenaline–we imagine no other set will be as jam-packed as his, especially when it comes to bootlegs!

Gladiator

This duo recently picked up a certified Fool's Gold affiliation, but even without it they were primed to ascend to the upper reaches of the bass music vibe in America. This set might be a culmination of a lot of hard work over the last few years, and is well deserved.

Late Night Alumni

This could be an interesting performance. Last we heard, Late Night Alumni is signed to Ultra. One of LNA's members, Kaskade, is no longer under contract with Ultra. How does this work for their live show? Will they be Kaskade-less? Whatever the case may be, getting some of that pure electronic music, featuring stunning vocals from Becky Jean Williams, will be a treat, especially for the EZoo crowd.
