Though drenched for much of the rainy and overcast afternoon and evening, revelers at the third annual one-day Trillectro event in Washington, DC were treated to a celebration that certainly showcased that the thin line between rap and EDM has blurred, and that the concept of the "turn up" is the ubiquitous tie that binds the two sounds. Whereas artists like Mississippi-based "No Flex Zone" emcees Rae Sremmurd were certainly energetic, but still scattershot in their live performance, other emerging emcees like special guest Travi$ Scott and Washington, DC's own GoldLink excelled. However, if more of a fan of EDM than rap, you're likely looking for a few dance-related takeaways from yesterday's event...and here they are.
