We're not huge into terms like "grindie," which are supposed to be used to describe indie bands with a grime feel, but Hadouken! has proven that they know how to operate as band but still satisfy the dance music scene. The Leeds-based band is currently signed to Ministry of Sound, have had their tunes produced by Drumsound & Bassline Smith, and have been featured on tracks by Feed Me, KillSonik, and Loadstar, who produced a number of tracks on their Every Weekend album (which also had production from Noisia and Aeph).
For this week's Five Tracks, we get to see the yin and yang of this group, from the more rock-influenced side of Hadouken! to their drum & bass and club roots. Five Tracks' submissions like this are what we like to see.Click to start the list
