Five Tracks: Ivan Gough and Jebu

With Size Records celebrating a fantastic #DECADE, you have to remember that they've not stopped making magic. Their 123rd release hit us like a shot; "Noxu" was produced by the legendary Ivan Gough alongside Jebu, crafting a truly unforgettable club rocker. These two Australians know their dance music, not just in a "let's make something that bangs" way, but in a "we know about these classics" way. Simple and plain, Ivan and Jebu celebrate their massive single with a collection of five great dance classics for this week's Five Tracks selection.

Ivan: Game changing track from the maestro Giorgio Moroder. This kick started the whole EDM thing for me.

Jebu: It caught my ear because it was full of energy and represents the epic but also uplifting aspect of dance music.

Ivan: It started out as a demo of a new drum machine they were using, and became the 12” that defined UK electronica in the '80s. I still listen to this today.

Jebu: I remember hearing this when I was 10 years old. It was my first experience with dance music and although I had no idea what genre it was, I loved it.

Ivan: When I first heard this it changed the way I looked at dance music forever. An endlessly repeating groove that gets in your head and drives you insane. Magic.
