Eric Prydz sure knows how to pick 'em, doesn't he? He selected Stockholm's Jeremy Olander for his Pryda Friends imprint back in 2011, and his stock rose immediately. His first two released on Pryda Friends were not only killing it for Pryda Friends on Beatport, but his music was being dropped by the finest, Pete Tong and John Digweed. He's racked up remixes for everyone from Digitalism to 16 Bit Lolitas, and has spun in venues all over. He returned to the Pryda camp in 2013, and his single "Let Me Feel" rose to the Beatport Top 10 overall chart.

Surprisingly, his list of Five Tracks has nothing to do with Pryda Friends or anything of the sort. It seems as if Olander's truly influenced by film soundtracks, and hit us off with his five great film soundtrack songs. Different style, but it's not just dance music that makes the dance music producer.

James Horner - "The Discovery of the Great Valley" ("The Land Before Time")

This track sums up my childhood, it was one of my favorite movies growing up. It's such a touching story and the soundtrack is so nostalgic to me. I think it's mandatory for every child to see this growing up.

John Williams - "Across The Stars" ("Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones")

John Williams is a master of his craft and he has written some of the most recognizable movie scores. I chose this one because it's not very well known, but I think he really nailed the whole "love story" telling with this piece. Makes me feel all warm on the inside.

Hans Zimmer - "You're So Cool" ("True Romance")

A lot of people know Hans Zimmer from his work on the new Batman movies and The Inception soundtrack, but one of my favorites from Hans is the soundtrack he did for True Romance. It might be because True Romance is one of my favorite films, but I really like the simplicity in the score. I also think he really did a great job with capturing the love story in the film and making it into a song.

Moby - "Porcelain" ("The Beach")

Not your typical theme song, but still a very good one. It just takes you to this nice place with palm trees and turquoise water, no matter where you are!

Brad Fiedel - "The Terminator Theme" ("The Terminator")

Not Available Interstitial

I was a huge Terminator fan growing up and the theme song was so powerful. The aggressive war-like percussions mixed with this really emotional and melancholic melody made such a cool mixture. It was one of the first songs, if not the first, that i learned to play on a piano!
