If you're looking for a daunting slice of minimal music, look no further than the one like Max Cooper. Earlier this year, Fields released his debut album, Human, which felt like it encompassed the last seven years of productions that fell somewhere between full danceflor bliss and stunning soundscapes. He's found a number of nimble producers to remix Human tracks in his new Inhuman series, and today we present his selection of Five Tracks, which highlight exactly why people are enamored by Cooper's sound.

The Slow Revolt - "Never Get Close"

Joe has a special way with synths, melodies and lyrics, and an amazing voice, too. This is the latest example of his multi-talented musicianship.

Rustle of The Stars - "Sleeping Land (Part 1)"

This has been one of my favorite tracks over the last couple of years, and something I was lucky enough to have a go at remixing recently.

Alex Banks - "Phosphorus"

Alex is one of my favorite new artists, and this is a fine example of why. I’ve been playing this track out a lot in recent months, and it never ceases to make a big impact.

Throwing Snow - "Pathfinder"

I’m loving a lot of work on Houndstooth at the moment, and Throwing Snow’s latest album on there is amazing from start to finish. I could have picked out any number of tracks to show you, but here’s just one jewel amongst many, with a great progression.

Max Cooper/Andy Lomas - "Seething Cellular Forms"

Andy Lomas is a CGI specialist who works on major films like Avatar and The Matrix, and he’s also a mathematician with an interest in generative art, culminating in his amazing cellular forms work which he kindly set to one of my album tracks. More to follow from this collaboration.
