Five Tracks: Stafford Brothers

five tracks stafford brothers Five Tracks: Stafford Brothers

The Stafford Brothers are one of the more interesting success stories in the EDM scene. Hailing from Australia, these real-life brothers cultivated their audience from the ground up. They've not been content to just release music (although putting out tunes on Minstry of Sound, Cr2, Toolroom, Defected and Armada are NOTHING to sneeze at). These brothers have their own TV show, which has been syndicated in over 20 countries. They've played a supporting role during The Prodigy's Australian tour in 2010. The next year, they remixed Real Madrid's official theme song. And they were signed to Cash Money Records, aligning themselves with Lil' Wayne and Drake. Yes, the EDM infiltration is real.

DAD got the Brothers to contribute to our Five Tracks series, and they laid a nice blend of influences at our feet, featuring tracks from Roger Sanchez, Eric Prydz, Dada Life, and Underworld. As they continue their ascent into the stratosphere, it's good to know that they have a good understanding of those that laid the foundation before them.
