While we love the contributions DJs make to our daily lives, we can't ignore the times where, for whatever reason, they fail. Be it a malfunction with their hardware, someone knocking over a DJ table, or an ill-timed stage dive, DJs make mistakes that are bigger than trainwrecking a mix. And while we salute the DJs who enrich our lives, we will still showcase the times where people screw up.

These featured clips showcase the bad times. Everyone from Skrillex to Flosstradamus have had issues while playing live, or the entire dance music community has been trolled by Paris Hilton with her "DJ sets." Whatever the case may be, laugh a little, and remember not to take yourselves too seriously.

Flosstradamus Knocks Over Their Equipment

Not Available Interstitial

Flosstradamus are one of our favorite production outfits, and their DJ game is definitely on point. What's not on point is when they're in the middle of a mix and knock over the entire table. For some reason, the track keeps playing, but we're not entirely sure what went on there. It just looks bad, but they recovered in the end.

The "It's Raining Men" Prank

Not Available Interstitial

Talk about cruel friends; this guy was playing Rihanna & Calvin Harris' "We Found Love," and right before the drop, the classic "It's Raining Men" cuts in. With friends like those, who needs enemies?

Dude, Where's Your Cables?

Not Available Interstitial

We're going to assume whoever is producing this show doesn't understand that DJ equipment needs to be plugged into some kind of electrical outlet (and connected to each other) to actually work; our guess is they figured the setup looked superb on those blocks, and called it a day. We're also not sure if this guy is a real DJ, but the way he fakes mixing is downright hilarious.

David Guetta's Got Cables, But No Power?

Not Available Interstitial

That's not just relegated for international TV shows either; this daytime TV show performance David Guetta's "When Love Takes Over" with Kelly Rowland at least involved his decks and mixer being connected to each other, but he wasn't actually doing anything with it. He actually did a better job of faking it, but they could've at least had everything plugged in so the lights were blinking, and given us an illusion of "DJ doing stuff."

The Infamous Hollertronix Table Flip

Not Available Interstitial

Unfortunately, this video is nowhere to be found currently (sorry!), but during a 2011 Hollertronix (aka Diplo and DJ Low Budget) reunion after a Mad Decent Block Party, this guy flipped the DJ table over mid-set. While that's a fail on the DJ set, he ended up getting the major Philly beatdown. What, you thought DJs were ascared of you?

You can check this out in a small .gif format, though.

Our Favorite Skrillex Freakout

Not Available Interstitial

There are a number of Skrillex fail videos online, most of them having to do with a mixer or laptop randomly dying/having soda spilled on them. This is our favorite, as it finds Skrilly in New Zealand taking his laptop to task. He repeatedly slams the poor computer on the stage, to the point where he falls and has Deadmau5 laughing at him. Fun times.

The Overanxious Supporter Knocks Over the Table

Not Available Interstitial

At some undisclosed outside rave, we're not sure if this is one of the DJs or just his boy, but he gets so hype about whatever is about to transpire that he bumps into the table, which ends up knocking the whole damn rig over. Thanks, bro, but next time, why don't you keep your hyper ass a couple of feet back.

The Stage Dive

Not Available Interstitial

Word to DJs, or anyone attempting to stage dive: think it through. If you can't just how far out to jump, especially when there's a sizeable gap between the stage and the fans, just don't do it. Hopefully this guy didn't end up too hurt after this fail.

We Don't Take Requests

Not Available Interstitial

We already told you about DJs and requests, didn't we? This is what happens when one particular DJ gets fed up and let's you have it, including cutting the sound out so everyone can hear him berate you. Poor girl, but really this guy looks kind of douche-y for blowing his stack. We get it, but c'mon.

Paris Hilton

Not Available Interstitial

Basically, Paris Hilton DJing is a fail on the entire art of DJing. There's no reason for her to be behind the decks, acting like she's doing more than swaying to pre-recorded mixes, but with celebrity comes these kinds of opportunities:

Don't believe us when we say it's pre-recorded? Just listen to Afrojack:

The Notorious B.I.G. vs. Big Cap: While this isn't EDM at all, you can't neglect to show one of the classic fails of a DJ. We're going to assume the heat got to him, and that's why Biggie threw that water bottle at him for messing up the mix:

And finally, we're thinking this might be one of the first fails committed to tape; any DJ who says you shouldn't play what makes the girls dance is fooling themselves:
