See that picture? That's what the DJ is seeing: a sea of EDM fans, waiting in anticipation for the next drop, going ham to the tune that's currently flying by them, and thoroughly loving the experience. They want to see you enjoying yourselves, and DAD wants to make sure you aren't missing out. FOMO can be hell, and the last thing we'd want you to say when you get home next week is "wow I wish I'd seen (insert DJ everyone is saying killed it)!" We're here to help, giving you a rundown of artists performing at this year's Ultra Music Festival that you absolutely must see. Many different styles, many different reasons, with proof. Get to scheduling!

Gesaffelstein

When to see them: Friday, Live Stage

The French producer is down with the hard techno sound that is Bromance, but he's more than that. 2013 saw the release of his album Aleph, as well as his featured work on Kanye West's Yeezus. Gesaffelstein has a way of blending influence and inspiration into his own cipher of electronic sound, and is truly one of the more talked-about artists making electronic music today. His live stage performance will be one of the most intriguing of the entire festival.

Eric Prydz

When to see them: Friday, Main Stage

Eric Prydz is a beast, but his main stage performance won't just be about the beats. At Ultra he will be debuting his HOLO project, which based on what we've read, has to be seen to be believed. The projections and hologram tech used will undoubtedly be like nothing anyone has seen before, and will turn one of the weekend's iller mixes into something even bigger.

Krewella

When to see them: Saturday, Main Stage

Krewella's Ultra 2013 set showed the world what this trio was capable of - and after the release of their Get Wet album, they truly blew down the doors and showcased why Columbia put their muscle behind this project. One year later, they land on the main stage of the Ultra Music Festival. It should be a turbo-charged mixture of the biggest sounds in EDM, with a massive amount of bass for the nonbelievers.

GTA

When to see them: Saturday, Ultra Worldwide

GTA's credo is "death to genres," and their live show encompasses this, giving fans what they want without being shackled by BPMs or having to color inside the lines. Their motto has gotten them far, with collaborations with Diplo and a pair of world tours with Rihanna under their belt. They helped produce "Hit It," one of the biggest anthems of last year's MIami Music Week, and have since dropped a trio of tunes on Calvin Harris' Fly Eye imprint. Their Ultra Worldwide set will be a certified PARTY.

Henry Fong

When to see them: Saturday, UMF Radio

One producer/DJ who's been on the top of everyone's "2014 artists to watch" list is Henry Fong, and he lived up to that distinction early with a single on Skrillex's OWSLA imprint. The LA by way of Orlando producer has an infection brand of electro house that will have the UMF Radio stage in the palm of his hand... and if he keeps it up, a main stage slot in the future should be in his midst.

J.Phlip

When to see them: Saturday, Underground Story

If you're looking for some merky, bass-infused house gems, you better make it out to see J.Phlip on the decks. She's represented with the Dirtybird camp, and has already been setting Miami ablaze with her sounds at a number of different spots. Touching down for the Underground Story stage is a perfect home for J, and we have a feeling she'll be bringing a batch of her own productions out for road testing.

Netsky

When to see them: Sunday, Live Stage

Netsky spent his formative years as a producer showcasing why he deserved to be in the Hospital fold, and then something happen: he blew up. With that emergence outside of the dnb scene, he started to morph, developing a sick live show that finds him joined by a number of musicians, seamlessly recreating the hectic beats that he creates in his studio. Fans of dnb or people who just want to see artists making music live in front of them should head to the live stage on Sunday to see Netsky LIVE!

TJR

When to see them: Sunday, Ultra Korea

Truthfully, all you need to do is watch the DJsounds show from earlier this month to see why you need to make it front row to TJR's set. Whether Melbourne bounce or whatever kind of stadium-crushing sounds he's drawing from, TJR is epic on the decks. He has a lot of fun, and it shows in his selection. Plus, he knows how to get a nimble scratch in there. The Ultra Korea stage is where he'll be throwing down, so make sure you're in attendance.

Chase & Status

When to see them: Sunday, Live Stage

Chase & Status released their Brand New Machine LP in 2013 and immediately received critical praise for their chameleon-like homage to the music that they used to go clubbing to. That '90s vibe, filtered through a 2013 scope, is where it's at, and their live show has been better than ever. Alongside MC Rage & Andy Gangadeen, the live Chase & Status show is a whirlwind of drum & bass, dubstep, breaks, trap, and whatever they are feeling like providing. And don't be surprised if Pusha T (who is also on the Ultra live stage bill) comes out for a live rendition of "Machine Gun."

Jack U

When to see them: Sunday, Main Stage

Jack U, aka Skrillex and Diplo, first premiered their collaborative project during one of the last Mad Decent Block Parties of 2013, and this will be one of their few live performances together on the 2014 circuit. Expect a plethora of styles meeting, blending, then turning on you during their set. Skrillex says they have about four or five tracks to get released this year, so expect to hear some new heat from this explosive pairing.
