The nominees for the 56th Annual Grammy Awards were announced tonight, and we're thankful for Arjan Writes, who just tweeted a list of the nominees in the Best Dance Recording and Best Dance/Electronic Album categories. The results are pretty solid, actually: Best Dance Recording features Zedd's "Clarity", Duke Dumont's "Need U (100%)," and Calvin Harris' "Sweet Nothing," while Best Dance/Electronic Album features Calvin Harris' 18 Months, Disclosure's Settle, and Daft Punk's Random Access Memories.
Based on the full list of nominees, Daft Punk has a number of other nominations, including Record of the Year (for "Get Lucky"), Album of the Year (for Random Access Memories), and Best Pop/Duo Performance (Daft Punk & Pharrell for "Get Lucky"). The Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical features the likes of Photek, Alesso, Cedric Gervais, and Andy Caldwell.
