Another day, another clip of a new Random Access Memories track. Today’s preview comes to us in the form of a minute of Daft Punk‘s “Doin’ It Right,” which features Animal Collective’s Panda Bear on the vocal (find out his thoughts on working with the androids via his episode of “The Collaborators”). This feels like it starts from the beginning, with a robotic voice leading the way into this cool, calm, and collected tune before Panda’s voice comes in. It sounds exactly like what we’ve been told it would, and has us thirsty for more. You can listen to this preview HERE.

Rumor on these Internets is that the full iTunes stream of Random Access Memories hits on May 13 (aka MONDAY!!!!), so keep it locked for that.

You guys are meant to be a website about dance music (or “EDM” as you yanks call it….. *Shiver*) yet all you ever talk about is the stuff that children talk about like daft punk, deadmau5 and skrillex. I like those artists but what about some posts about Orginal dance? House? Tech house? Techno? Minimal? Funky House? Deep house? Trance? Progressive?

All this electro house is well and good but its like a tiny section of the bigger picture, makes me feel like you guys don’t really like dance music, more this EDM phase of music. Just my 2 cents

I don’t think you can consider Daft Punk “electro house.” And I have a feeling you don’t check the site often enough to see what we actually post. We’ve covered house, minimal, deep house, some trance… plus trap, drum & bass, dubstep, footwork, downtempo, and so much more. I think you’re basing your opinion on the “tiny section” of the site you’re actually reading.
