The Daily Mail Thinks A-Trak is a Member of Odd Future Named "Flan Emoji"

This could be the funniest thing I've read all day. Part of the outrage over Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off" stemmed from tweets from Odd Future member Earl Sweatshirt, who called the video "inherently offensive." A-Trak spoke out as well, making jokes like "Let's be urban, everyone!" and saying the video should be sponsored by the American Cronut Society.

Now what UK newspaper The Daily Mail wanted to do was cover the dust up caused by the video, which makes sense. What they should have done was take a few minutes, figure out who Earl Sweatshirt and A-Trak were, and report on their tweets separately. No, Daily Mail ended up claiming that "two members of Odd Future" had things to say about the video, Earl Sweatshirt and Flan Emoji. Who's Flan Emoji, you might ask? Oh, that's who The Daily Mail thinks A-Trak is, based on the name he threw on his Twitter account:

1.

earla

SMH. He's called a "bandmate" and everything. It's not like A-Trak isn't one of the most talented DJs in the world (and has been since he was a teenager). A-Trak also came off of a tour that had him in Ibizia, Lisbon, and other spots across the pond. Hell, grabbing an image of his tweets with "@atrak" clearly visible should've given them a sign.

Just, wow. Hopefully Flan Emoji makes some kind of appearance in the near future.
