It was almost one year ago that we got the official tracklist to Avicii's debut album True, and I remember being surprised at the featured artitsts on the project, which included Adam Lambert and Dan Reynolds of Imagine Dragons. If all of the collaborations that Avicii mentioned to Rolling Stone pan out, his second album, which is currently-untitled and said to be dropping later this year, will trump True's lineup:

"Collaborators this time include Jon Bon Jovi, Serj Tankian of System of a Down and Chris Martin of Coldplay. There's a song with Billie Joe Armstrong called "No Pleasing a Woman," and a reggae duet between Wyclef Jean and Matisyahu."

From the 70 tracks he's currently working on, Rolling Stone says that this album is going to push the line that True walked on even further. With Avicii saying this next album will be even more "song-oriented," it's going to be interesting to see if he can duplicate the "Wake Me Up" success, or if he'll have an album that doesn't really connect (ala Tiesto or Afrojack) with the charts as much. We'll keep you posted.
