In a scene that sounds eerily similar to what went down at the I AM HARDWELL stop in Edinburgh earlier this year, reports from Toronto state that at least 29 people were sent to the hospital for complications due to alcohol and/or drugs at a recent Avicii show. An officer by the name of George Eliadis told the Toronto Star that this is an "unusually high" number of hospitalizations for this kind of concert. Out of the reported 20,000 people who packed into the Rogers Centre, one person was treated for drug use, while others "became ill to varying degrees as a result of alcohol consumption," with most of this going down before Avicii even hit the stage.
