The BBC is Producing a Documentary on Daft Punk

While details are scarce, reports say that BBC Worldwide Production France has commissioned Canal Plus to create an hour-long documentary on Daft Punk to air some time in 2015. It’s said to be the “independent movie on the iconic group Daft Punk,” and is said to focus on “their rise and artistic world.” The duo’s been doing the damn thing for two decades, so we’ll see how much gets crammed into an hour. It’s set to be directed by Hervé Martin Delpierre and co-written by Marina Rozenman, while BBC Worldwide Productions head Jean-Louis Blot will be producing the flick alongside Patrice Gellé.

We’ll keep you posted; hopefully an English-language version is made available at some point.
