Daft Punk is Releasing a Live Album Box Set Just in Time For Christmas

While we're not sure when we'll get new Daft Punk music, it looks like this vinyl reissue is going to be perfect for the android-loving member of your household (which might be you). Amazon France posted a pretty slick box set featuring Daft Punk's two live albums, Alive 1997 and their Alive 2007 album, which won a Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Album in 2009. While Alive 1997 was released on vinyl in 2001, this will be the first time that Alive 2007 will be put out on wax.

Included in this box set are both albums, pressed on 180g white vinyl, a 52-page booklet, a replica VIP pass, a card to download both live albums, as well as a video for "Harder Better Faster Stronger." This box set is said to be released on December 19 for 85 EUR.

UPDATE It looks like this limited-edition box set is hitting America, too. Our release date is December 23, and will be available for $119.99. Not to be out-done, there is also a special double-vinyl edition of Alive 2007 that is available for $39.99.
