If a pre-EDM dance fiend, the idea that Death From Above 1979 reunited in 2011 and recently released their latest album, The Physical World via Last Gang/Warner Brothers Records is a welcome bit of news. As well, if a fan of the dance punk icons, the idea that the duo would release a limited line of 60 Levi's denim and leather jackets emblazoned with "hand-stitched chenille patches of a "79" on the front and DFA 1979's distinctive logo on the back" (both designed by Klaxon Howl and Wolff) would seem to fit the raw, yet powerful sound of the act.
