So we finally found out who/what "POTATO" was. It was announced earlier today that the collaboration between Diplo, Skrillex, and A-Trak is a YouTube network that "aims to bring back the spirit of early music television for the digital and mobile era." Basically, Internets killed the MTV star.

Based on the promo video above, POTATO will be catering to a number of different people, with series from Fat Jew going on amazing adventures to "Cosmo's Crates," which will probably be a music-digging excursion show with Cosmo Baker. You've got "BANG!," which should be giving you some live show footage, and the promise of video AND audio premieres.

The press release and video don't specifically say it caters to the EDM crowd, but the actual content seems very dance music-friendly. We'll see. Mike Ostolaza is one of the figures behind it, and he was an integral part behind MTV Clubland. It should be an interesting treat. Subscribe now!
