Back in July we hit you with the news that Dirty South signed with Astralwerks, and would not only be releasing an album, but had a short film that he had written, shot, and directed, both titled With You. We got to see the awesome trailer for this piece at the end of July, and while I haven't seen it yet, I hear that this tale of a boy falling in love with a girl from another planet has been hitting the film festival circuit. In the last few weeks, I've found out some interesting tidbits from this project, including how the film's narrative was actually born from Dirty South listening to the album for the first time, with the lyrics turning into the film's dialogue. What's also dope is that it actually features some bigger named talent, including Warrick Brown (from CSI). in the film.

While the With You album isn't out until November 4, the film is actually out now for $3 on iTunes. That's a pretty ill price for this fully-realized project. Check out the trailer, as well as the official video for album track "Tunnel Vision," down below.
