Disclosure to Release An EP, “The Singles,” in the U.S.

Earlier this week, Disclosure announced that their debut album, Settle, would be released on June 3. DAD pondered on if this would be getting released in the U.S., due to comments from an interview with Pigeons & Planes where they mentioned releasing the album in the UK, and an EP (with the working title of “The Singles” being thrown around). Well, it has just been announced that Disclosure has been signed to Cherrytree/Interscope, and that The Singles, a four-track EP of their three latest singles (“Latch,” “White Noise,” and the forthcoming “You & Me”) and the Hudson Mohawke remix of “White Noise.”

DAD loves the idea of Disclosure getting signed over here stateside, but does this mean we won’t be getting the full album anytime soon? Especially with them hitting the Ultra Music Festival, Coachella, and other spots in America? Is there something about the American music public that Disclosure feels won’t translate into us enjoying the album?
