“Evolution with Pete Tong” Will Hit 80 More Radio Stations

As of right now, if you’re not living in Miami or Boston (or hooked up to iHeartRadio), you cannot hear the glorious sounds of Evolution Radio, featuring a weekly Pete Tong show. That is all about to change with the launch of Evolution with Pete Tong, which is set to hit 80 radio stations across the country. Through Premiere Networks, Evolution will be a one-hour show that Tong hosts, will include the dance music chart rundown, exclusive guest mixes, and feature Pete’s Essential tune of the week.

There’s no word on when this initiative will kick off, but It looks like Evolution has already started airing; we have a full list of cities and frequencies that will host this hour-long show, so check your local listings for when it airs in your area:

And, of course yet again, NEW YORK CITY, which has one of the LARGEST dance music/EDM followings throughout the country is NOT getting this. Even Poughkeepsie, NY (a small city 75 miles NORTH of NYC) is getting this “love” over New York City proper.

More and more it’s making me think there’s this “conspiracy” against the nations largest and radio’s most CONSERVATIVE market.

Guess we’ll hear an AM news station move up to the FM before ANYTHING dance.

Tony I am right there with you! It’s 2014 – radio is about as safe as it can get, and it’s not paying off. As dance music gets stronger and stronger, the walls will come down and New York will finally get the station it deserved 10 years ago!
