High Rankin has been around the ol' dubstep block a while now, and today he's announced his new block: house music. The name of the project? Rain City Riot. Funny enough, I already came across his free single "Killer" back in July and it's exactly what I love about the current underbubbling of bass-infused deep house sometimes referenced as neo house. Throwback classic house vibes, with prominently plucking and bouncy basslines characterized by melodic 90's pianos and chattering claps and timely vocal samples. High Rankin's new project Rain City Riot seems more apt for longevity so we're excited to see what he comes up with!
