Back in July, we heard the first rumblings of the lawsuit against CEO Insomniac Pasquale Rotella being dropped, and while Insomniac's attorney made a brief statement back in August, earlier today they spoke more on the dismissal of the four charges against Rotella, something that was the talk of the 2012 EDM community. Here is their statement, verbatim:

In response to Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge, Kathleen A. Kennedy’s, decisive ruling clearing Los Angeles based event producer and Insomniac CEO, Pasquale Rotella, of four embezzlement charges against him, Rotella’s attorney, Gary Jay Kaufman, has issued the following statement:

“We are extremely pleased with the Court’s ruling this morning. The ruling confirms what we’ve maintained from day one – that Mr. Rotella didn’t steal a penny from the Coliseum – he paid money.

Now almost two years since the beginning of this investigation, two civil judges and one criminal judge have come to this same conclusion.

Today’s ruling is a giant step toward what we expect to be a full and complete exoneration of Mr. Rotella."
