In Internets time, it's been forever since we fell in love with James Blake's "Retrograde," the new single off of his forthcoming album, Overgrown. Today, we not only get a look at the album cover (above), which finds James in all of his cross-armed glory, but we get word that, while he's done the majority of the album himself, he did collaborate with the legendary Brian Eno (on "Digital Lion") and Wu-Tang Clan member RZA (on "Take a Fall For Me In"). Word is that when James and Brian Eno spoke, they shared a favorite track in gospel song "Peace Be Still" by Reverend James Cleveland and the Angelic Choir. His love for the first Wu-Tang album while working in NY prompted James to contact the RZA.
Unfortunately, we don't have any new audio for the project, but Overgrown will be released April 8 on Atlas, so hopefully we have another single to digest before the album's release.
