There's no way a DJ or producer can just be a DJ or producer. I mean, they could, but the life of staring at waveforms and spinning music must not be fulfilling. Everyone needs to get their creative juice out, which leads us to Jillionaire, who has launched his label Feel Up Records, which he's running with Richie Beretta. The Brooklyn-based imprint will focus on what he's been perfecting: intersecting the sounds of soca and dancehall into many forms of dance music. Outside of Jillionaire and Beretta, Feel Up also features the tropical vibes of Teleseen, Toronto collective Grand Analog, and and an interesting duo, Clementine & The Galaxy. They've posted a number of tunes to highlight what you can expect from Feel Up, and it looks like Grand Analog's Modern Thunder is the first release form Feel Up, due out in April.
